Tania flies into Adelaide and straight into an intensive few days of work with Peter. On the list of things to do? recording, a video shoot, new music, and anything else they can cram in. There’s very little sleep on this express train :)

It’s a hectic time for both of us, and with so much ahead of us, we’re somewhat loopy. Have a shoot reunion this weekend for the folks who were involved, and a few that couldn’t make it. Still have at least 2 videos to produce from that shoot, and some new music we’re about to release. Finding time in our busy lives is probably the most challenging thing. Look forward to getting together with Pete in April for some crazy shenanigans, and who knows what that will give rise to. It’s as much a mystery to us as it is to you. Will keep you posted :) 

Writing songs is an interesting process for MuscularRose. Often starting life as a handful of samples, carefully crafted by Tania & Peter simply to be great sounds. Bear in mind that these guys live on opposite sides of Australia, so just getting sounds together is no mean feat. Then there’s Peter’s intensive crafting of music, followed by Tania’s lyric and melodic sculpting, resulting in recording and more mixing…and all this happens without them even getting to look each other in the eye. Precious People has so far been the only track where both of them were together for the vocals session.
